5 Tips to Optimize Your Landing Pages for Conversions

The net provide many tools that allows us to run promising ads, but what are the odds that your landing page will convert?

Your ad may be effective and may bring traffic to your landing page, however, if the landing page is poorly designed and lacks the specific elements that are needed, that page will not convert. When a potential prospect lands on your page you want the process to be as seamless as possible. Your landing page also need to deliver what your ad is promising.

Here’s how you can optimize your landing pages to ensure maximum conversions.

1. Design

Design is major key. The design of a landing page includes font choices, color palettes, call to actions and more. The design of your website needs to be cohesive with your brand. The imagery used on your landing page should also relate to what you are seeking to promote.

2. Website Content

You want your website visitors to be enthusiastic about your offer. Using copy that excites your web visitors can help them to keep scrolling. Integrate language that relates to your industry as well. Ensure that your copy is clear and easy to understand.

3. Call to action

The call to action is one of the most critical element on your landing page. This is a true test to see whether or not your copy, design, imagery and navigation were enough to persuade your visitors to convert. An effective call to action may be a command (people like to be told what to do), or you can ask a probing question.

4. Testimonials

Testimonials in many cases, are one of the most defining factors in a conversion. A person is more willing to partake in an offer if it has received a great review from another person.

Video testimonials are found to be really effective. If you are able to get a testimonial from a well-known celebrity or influencer, that will increase your chances of conversion.

5. Length of the Landing Page

Short landing pages can be very effective depending on what you have to offer. Long landing pages may be effective as well. Doing A-B tests can be useful to see which style works favorably with your ad.
